Prince George’s Birth Officially Registered

The birth of the newest heir to the British throne has officially been registered with the City of Westminster. The Duke of Cambridge registered his son’s July 22nd birth on August 2nd, at Kensington Palace. Prince George’s registration certificate was brought to the palace by deputy registrar Alison Cathcart for the Duke to sign. His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge

A statement released today by Kensington Palace said: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son George Alexander Louis.” It went on saying, “The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.” The couple announced the baby’s name two days after it’s birth. Prince George is third in line and one day will be King.

The British Royal Court has announced that the Duchess of Cambridge has been safely delivered of a baby son. The infant was born on July 22nd, at 4:24pm.
