Belgian Economic Mission to Japan, Days One and Two

The Crown Prince Couple’s economic mission started on June 10th, when Prince Philippe visited EXPO 2010 in Yesu, South Korea. He was there to represent the King. The Prince, accompanied by the Belgian delegation and two Ministers, visited pavilions with chocolate, diamonds and fries during the Belgian Day. Frederik & Mary in South Korea, Days Two and Three

Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary have spent the past two days in Seoul and Yeosu. The couple began with seperate agendas yesterday, May 11th, in Seoul. The Crown Princess visited the Samsung Medical Centre in Ilwon-dong, where she visited the NICU, the paediatric ward and the cancer school. Queen Margrethe Shines in Pink During State Visit

Emperor Akihito takes his grandson for a little sea excursion

Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko invited Princess Kiko and little Prince Hisahito to join them for a little sea excursion near the Imperial Villa in the town of Hayama, south of Tokyo. Honorary Doctorate for Princess Benedikte

HRH Princess Benedikte, the Princess of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, has recently completed an official visit to South Korea, which begun early last week. On Wednesday September 9th, Princess Benedikte was awarded an honorary doctorate in literature from the Seoul Women’s University at a ceremony presided over by the University’s president, Rhee Kwang-ja. President Lee visits Sweden

Today, July 12 2009, Sweden’s royal family received South Korea’s President Lee Myung-Bak with First Lady Kim Yoon-ok at Sollidens castle, on the island of Oeland.
