This year Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands will celebrate her 30th year on the throne. Queen Beatrix unviels Statues of her Parents

Queen Beatrix today unveiled a bronze-plated statue of her late parents, Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard. The statue lies in the grounds of Soestdijk Palace, which was the home of Juliana and Bernhard from 1937 to their deaths in May and December 2004, respectively. Pieter van Vollenhoven attends Book Presentation

Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven yesterday was presented with the first copy of a new book regarding the history of Soestdijk Palace; “Paleis Soestdijk – Drie eeuwen huis van Oranje’ (‘Soestdijk Palace – Three Centuries of the House of Orange’). Future of Soestdijk Palace Still Unclear

  Newspaper De Telegraaf claims that they have secret information about the future of Soestdijk.
