Prince Albert II attended the annual Sainte-Dévote Celebrations in Monaco on Saturday, January 26th. The feast of Sainte-Dévote has a long tradition of devotion with the Monégasques Princely Family. The 4th century Christian martyr is the Patron Saint of both Monaco and Corsica. The Prince attended the traditional religious procession on his own this year. Sainte-Dévote Events in Monaco

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II attended Monaco’s annual Sainte-Dévote events on January 26 and 27, 2009. Saint Dévote, Monaco’s patron Saint and special protector of the Sovereign Family was born in the 4th Century in Corsica.
