Queen Beatrix Celebrates With Knights

On Saturday Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands went to the Grote Kerk in Naarden to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Dutch protestant Johanniter order. The Dutch branch of the ancient order was founded in 1909 by prince Hendrik, consort of queen Wilhelmina of The Netherlands. At the moment the order has over 3000 volunteers and 600 members, who all are active in helping others, like handicapped or lonely people. … Continue reading

It’s been a day of celebration for the Windsor clan as Her Majesty The Queen marked her official birthday today, several weeks after her actual birthday in April. President Papoulias’ First Day in Denmark leads to Car Trouble

The Greek President and his wife have spent their first day in Denmark, after accepting an invitation from Queen Margrethe II. President Papoulias and Mrs Papoulia arrived the Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen in the late afternoon, and were greeted by almost the entire Danish Royal Family.
