Queen Rania makes NY Times ‘Best Selling Author’ List

The New York Times has recently published their best-selling list of books which lists Queen Rania’s book “The Sandwich Shop”, as the children’s best-seller. Queen Rania was on a recent tour of America, to cities including Chicago and New York, to promote her book on cross-cultural understanding in schools and book stores. Her book is published by Disney, and can be purchased in two languages; Arabic and English.

Queen Launches Madrasati Palestine

Her Majesty Queen Rania launched the Madrasati Palestine Initiative of Education in East Jerusalem by renovating its schools under the supervision of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. Jordanian King Abdullah II and his wife Queen Rania visited the Islamic Scientific College, where HM King Abdullah (then Prince Abdullah) started his primary education in 1966. Abdullah & Rania Inaugurate First Children’s Hospital in Jordan

Shania Twain to interview a Queen

Canadian Country star Shania Twain is to interview Her Majesty Queen Rania of Jordan later this month on the Radio One series, which is part of the CBC network. The interview is to discuss the Queen’s 1Goal charity, which is trying to get the G8 countries to enrol 72 million African children in school by 2015.
