Like every year, the Dutch Royal Family has celebrated the traditional opening of parliament: Prinsjesdag. The Royal Family left Noordeinde Palace in the Golden Carriage at 13:00, heading for the Knight’s Hall. Crown Princess Maxima’s Latest Activities

On May 30, Princess Maxima was in the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam to attend the conference about “Impact Investing”. Crown Princess Maxima speech in her capacity as Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development by the Secretary-General of the United Nations. “Impact Investing” is investing in companies and projects with social and enviromental objective. Concert Celebrating Máxima’s Fortieth Birthday

While her actual birthday is on May 17th, Princess Máxima celebrated her fortieth birthday this past Friday with a concert performed by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. The Princess is patron of the orchestra. Princess Maxima at Work after her 40th Birthday

On May 18, the day after her 40th birthday, Princess Maxima was back at work. Princess Maxima was in IJmuiden to be present at the Money Matters parade. The parade is a traveling interactive exhibition for young and old financial awareness, on how to manage money. New Portraits to Mark Máxima’s 40th Birthday

Her Royal Highness Princess Máxima of the Netherlands today celebrates her fortieth birthday. To mark the occassion, the Princess gave an interview and photo session with Dutch newspaper magazine AD.
