Spanish King and Queen Celebrate Armed Forces Day

The King and Queen of Spain today marked Armed Forces Day in Madrid with the traditional military parade by the Joint Battalion at the Plaza de la Lealtad before a reception at the Royal Palace. Queen Letizia Recognises Spanish Heritage

Queen Letizia of Spain went to the Colegio de Arquitectos in Madrid on Monday to open an exposition named ‘Recognizing the Spanish Heritage in Europe’. The exposition focusses on the last 40 years of modern Spanish architecture in Europe. Spanish King and Queen Attend Mass For Earthquake Victims

Yesterday the King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain Felipe VI of Spain and Queen Letizia of Spain attended a tribute Mass for the victims of the earthquake in Ecuador.   The earthquake happened on April 16th and had the epicenter close to the towns of Muisne and Pedernales, 170 kilometers away from the Ecuador’s capital Quito.
