Dutch Celebrate First Koningsdag in 124 Years

The Dutch Royal Family yesterday celebrated the first Koningsdag in 124 years, in the towns of De Rijp and Amstelveen. These were the towns originally scheduled for the event in 2013, but were postponed due to the abdication ceremonies. Son for Floris and Aimée

The Dutch Royal Court has just announced that Prince Floris and Princess Aimée are the parents of a healthy son. The infant was born today, July 1st, at 13:32, Dutch time, at the Bronovo Hospital in The Hague. He has been named Willem Jan Johannes Pieter Floris, to be called Willem Jan. Floris and Aimée Expecting Third Child

The Dutch Royal Court announced yesterday that Prince Floris, youngest son of Princess Margriet and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven, and his wife, Aimée, are expecting their third child. Princess Aimée is expected to give birth in mid-July. Floris and Aimée were married in 2005, and have two daughters: Magali, born in 2007, and Eliane, born in 2009.

Dutch Royals Celebrate Koninginnedag

The Dutch Royal Family yesterday celebrated the official birthday of Queen Beatrix, Koninginnedag, in the towns of Rhenen and Veenendaal. Queen Beatrix was joined by two of her sons and daughters-in-law, her sister, and nephews and their wives for the festivities. Dutch Royal Family Participate in NL DOET 2012

Like every year the Dutch Royal Family was present at the National Volunteer Day, NL DOET, on March 16 and 17, 2012. On March 16, Queen Beatrix, Princess Margriet, Prince Bernhard, Princess Annette, Prince Floris and Princess Aimée helped the foundation Assistance Dog in Molenschot. Second Daughter for Floris and Aimée

The Dutch Royal Family has grown today, with Princess Aimée giving birth to her second child. Aimée and husband Prince Floris welcomed their second daughter at 14:50 local time.
