On April 7, it was reported that an engagement ring worth a million pounds was stolen from the car of Prince Jean-Christophe Napoléon after his fiancée, Countess Olympia von Arco-Zinneberg, had left the ring in her bag in the car. Commemorations marking the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo begun today in Belgium, where King Philippe and Queen Mathilde hosted a dinner for the descendants of the battle’s main commanders.
