Joint Horse Whispering Engagement for the Queen and Camilla

The Duchess of Cornwall was joined by her mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth, during a visit to the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace today, where the royal duo watched a horse whispering demonstration by Monty Roberts. Camilla’s patronage, The Brooke, an agency that advocates for the welfare of horses, donkeys and mules internationally, arranged the demonstration (Monty Roberts is their Global ambassador), which saw the horse whisperer train a five-year-old mare. Child Bereavement UK Celebrates 21st Birthday with Patron William

The Duke of Cambridge tonight helped one of the charities closest to his heart celebrate their 21st birthday at a fundraiser held at London’s Banqueting House. Queen Margrethe Presents Queen Ingrid Research Prize

The Queen of Denmark has presented the Queen Ingrid Research Prize in a ceremony at Christian VII’s Palace, Amalienborg today. Professor Søren Jacobsen, the head of rheumatology at Copenhagen University Hospital, was awarded the prize of 100,000DKK for his research and work with arthritis. Earlier today, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark met the winners of the Crown Princess Mary Scholarship at Frederik VIII’s Palace. The Vice-Chancellor and Professor Peter Rathjen from the University of Tasmania was also present at the meeting. Princess Marie Is Joined By Her Family At Tønder Festival

Princess Marie was accompanied by her husband, Prince Joachim, and their children to the Tonder Festival this afternoon. kongehuset.dk had announced that Princess Marie would be attending the event with no other royals mentioned. The royals were joined by family friends and their children. The Princess has been patron of the Tønder Festival since 2009. Tønder Festival is a folk music festival which takes place in August.
