Camilla Opens New Hospice in East Sussex

The Duchess of Cornwall spent the day today in East Sussex, where she undertook three engagements in various towns in the county. Her first stop was Eastbourne to officially open the new St Wilfrid’s Hospice. The hospice, which was opened to patients in November, cost £11.5 million, and relies mostly on donations to allow its patients to receive care at not cost. From March 17 to March 21, Crown Princess Victoria visited Ghana and Tanzania. Accompanying her was the Swedish Minister of Trade, Ewa Björling. The visit’s aim was to deepen the relationships between Sweden, Ghana and Tanzania. The Dutch Royal Family participated on Friday March 21 in the National Volunteer Day, NL DOET. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima helped at the zoo Akkertje in Rijswijk. Princess Marie Takes Over New Patronages

Denmark’s Princess Marie has added two new patronages to her portfolio, bringing her total to thirteen. The new patronages are in the fields of health and marine conservation, and previously had Prince Henrik, the Prince Consort, as their patron.
