Queen Maxima Attends the Leerorkest Anniversary Concert

Queen Maxima attended the ten year anniversary of the Leerorkest (Learing-orchestra) in Amsterdam. The concert consisted of 1088 primary school children, the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra, singers from the National Opera and soloists. Queen Maxima is the honorary chairman of “More Music in the Classroom” which supports the Leerorkest. Prince Charles Becomes Patron of the National Gallery

The Prince of Wales today visited the National Gallery in London, where he was given a tour of the Gallery’s new exhibition, Delacroix and the Rise of Modern Art. Charles was also named the Gallery’s first Royal Patron, after being a trustee between the years of 1986 to 1993. The exhibition is the first in Britain of the works of French artist Eugène Delacroix in over 50 years.
