Danish Royals help celebrate Home Guard’s 60th Anniversary

The Danish Royal Family was out in force on Wednesday April 1st to help the Danish Home Guard celebrate their 60th anniversary. The eyes of royal-watchers were split between Crown Princess Mary in her military uniform and Princess Marie’s baby bump. Queen Margrethe hands out award to guardsman

On Wednesday, Queen Margrethe handed out the “Queen’s Watch” award to guardsman Jens Høgild Nørgaard at a ceremony on the Rosenburg drill ground in Copenhagen. Prince of Orange Visits Military Rehabilitation Center

The prince of Orange visited the military rehabilitation center (MRC) in Doorn. The prince spoke with soldiers that are rehabilitating, most of them got wounded in Afghanistan. After these talks he opened a new wing of the rehabilitation center.
