Prince Philippe visits Fire-Struck Nursing Home

Prince Philippe returned from his holiday in France to visit the nursing home which was struck by a terrible fire last Thursday evening. Nine of the residents died in the fire, which was probably caused by a short circuit in a television or an electrical fan. Summer Photo Shoot with Belgian Crown Princely Family

Today, June 7, is Election Day in Belgium. People have to elect representatives for the European Parliament and the regional Parliaments (Flemish, Wallonian, Brussels Parliaments). Prince Philippe of Belgium travelled to the Kazach steppes, to Star City Baikonur, where he attended the launch of the Soyuz, which carries Russian Cosmonaut Roman Romanenko, Canadian astronaut Robert Thirsk and Belgian astronaut Frank De Winne. Philippe, Mathilde & family on winter holiday

Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde used last week’s school holiday to take their kids out to the snow. The family stayed in the Swiss Alps, in Verbier, where Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark have been frequent visitors. Princess Elisabeth and Prince Gabriel are already quite skillful on the skis, and they look very cute in helmets and red ski outfit. Thanks to royals.web-log.nl
