Duchess of Gloucester Charms Exhibitors at Mobility Roadshow

Princess Birgitte, the Duchess of Gloucester, recently paid a visit to the annual Mobility Roadshow. The roadshow featured exhibits and information from manufacturers of wheelchairs and other devices designed to help with mobility. Former Greek King Out of Intensive Care

Greece’s Former King, Constantine II, is now out of the Intensive Care Unit at Wellington Hospital and in a private room according to a message posted to the family’s site. Grand Duke Jean in Hospital

Grand Duke Jean, former Grand Duke of Luxembourg, has been admitted into hospital due to basic circulatory problems. It is expected that he will be able to leave after a few more ‘days of observation’, according to Luxembourger Wort. Princess Eugenie on Football Charity Outing

Queen Sonja will be operated on her foot again. The 71 years old Queen-consort had problems with her feet for quite a while now. Kidney Transplant for Daniel Westling

It has been reported that Daniel Westling, the fiance of Crown Princess Victoria, underwent a kidney transplant today to treat a congenital (but apparently not hereditary) kidney disease. The donor kidney came from Mr Westling’s father. Both Daniel and his father are reported to be doing well. The surgery apparently was scheduled some time in advance and is not an emergency procedure. Saudi Crown Prince arrives in Morocco

Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General arrived in Morocco on Wednesday, coming from New York. Prince Sultan arrived in New York in early February to undergo surgery and a few tests. The Crown Prince was received at Agadir airport by Prince Moulay Rashid bin Al-Hasan of Morocco. Prince Sultan is accompinied by a few members of the Saudi ruling family.
