Belgium’s Queen Paola Suffers Spinal Fracture

79-year-old Queen Paola of Belgium is currently receiving treatment at the Cliniques universitaires Saint Luc in Brussels after a heavy fall resulted in a spinal fracture. According the statement released by the Belgian Royal Court, there was no neurological damage as a result of the injury. The Queen’s rehabilitation will take several months. Grand Duke Jean Hospitalised Over Christmas

The Grand Ducal Court of Luxembourg has today confirmed that Grand Duke Jean was hospitalised last week to receive treatment for bronchitis, and spent Christmas Day there.
