Queen Margrethe Presents Queen Ingrid Research Prize

The Queen of Denmark has presented the Queen Ingrid Research Prize in a ceremony at Christian VII’s Palace, Amalienborg today. Professor Søren Jacobsen, the head of rheumatology at Copenhagen University Hospital, was awarded the prize of 100,000DKK for his research and work with arthritis. Japanese Empress Diagnosed with Myocardial Ischemia

Tests performed at the University of Tokyo Hospital have shown that Empress Michiko is suffering from myocardial ischemia, a condition in which blood flow to the heart is reduced. Queen Máxima Opens Leontien House

Queen Máxima of the Netherlands today was in Zevenhuizen, in the country’s south-west, to officially open the Leontien House, a centre to help people suffering from eating disorders.
