Spanish King & Queen Visit the Netherlands

The King and Queen of Spain paid an introductory visit to their Dutch counterparts today, visiting The Hague. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima welcomed King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia at Noordeinde Palace, where the two couples greeted each other with friendly hugs and kisses. First National Day With Felipe VI As King

Spain has celebrated its first National Day with its new monarch, King Felipe VI. The celebrations took place earlier today at the Plaza de Cánovas del  Castillo, with a reception at the Royal Palace afterwards. Honduran President Visits Spain

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia today hosted a lunch at the Royal Palace of Madrid in honour of the visiting President of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández Alvarado, and his wife. Spanish Introductory Visit to Portugal

On Sunday March 23rd, Adolfo Suárez, 1st Duke of Suárez and Spain’s first post-Franco Prime Minister passed away aged 81.
