Queen Rania Visits A Girls School

Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah visited the Safout Secondary School for Girls in connection with 70th anniversary of Jordan’s Independence Day and the 100th anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt. During Queen Rania’s visit, she watched students preform and listened to them sing national songs. Sheikha Mozah Meets With Refugee Students In Istanbul

Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser met with a group of people to talk about Alfakhoora, an Education Above All Program in Istanbul today. Sheikha Mozah also met with a group of Syrian refugees who are already benefiting from the scholarship program. Flashback Friday: A Young Prince Charles On Archaeological Dig

Back in 1968, Prince Charles was a student at Trinity College, Cambridge undertaking a course in archaeology and physical and social anthropology. As part of his studies, the 19-year-old Prince went to France and Jersey on archaeological digs in March and April that year. Queen Maxima Attends the Leerorkest Anniversary Concert

Queen Maxima attended the ten year anniversary of the Leerorkest (Learing-orchestra) in Amsterdam. The concert consisted of 1088 primary school children, the Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra, singers from the National Opera and soloists. Queen Maxima is the honorary chairman of “More Music in the Classroom” which supports the Leerorkest.
