Princess Mary Hands Out LEGO, Visits Danish Swimmers In Rio

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark had a few events in today in Rio de Janeiro, first distributing LEGO to children at the EDI Institute for Child Development. 5,000 boxes of LEGO have been donated to 300 Brazilian schools as part of the VisitDenmark campaign and the Danish Business and Growth Ministry’s promotion. Queen Letizia Opens Princess of Asturias Foundation Music Summer Courses

The Queen of Spain travelled to Oviedo today for the opening of the Princess of Asturias Foundation’s summer courses for the International School of Music. Meeting with students and posing for photos, Queen Letizia also watched a performance on oboes by students. She then visited a classroom where students were learning piano.

His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan today performed a “ground-breaking ceremony” (Sa-Lhang Tendrel) for the Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law at Pangbisa in Paro, west of Thimphu.  It will be the first School of Law in the country.
