Archduchess Regina Passed Away

Archduchess Regina of Austria, wife of the head of the Austrian imperial family, Archduke Otto, has died this morning in the family house in Pöcking near the Lake Starnberg in Bavaria, Germany.  The 85 year old archduchess died peacefully at 08.40 AM, with several members of the family present, according to a spokesperson of the family. Death of Count Christian of Castell-Rüdenhausen

On January 21st Count Christian of Castell-Rüdenhausen passed away after a long illness at the age of 57. Count Christian will be burried tomorrow. Since 1982 the count lived in the castle of Twickel in Delden, The Netherlands. He inherited the castle from a great aunt, the last lady of Twicke, baroness Marie van Heeckeren van Wassenaer. Countess of Frederiksborg’s Father Passes Away

Richard Manley, the 85-year-old father of HE the Countess of Frederiksborg, passed away earlier this week in a Vienna hospital. A statement released by the Countess stated that she, her two sisters and her mother Christa were by Mr Manley’s bedside when he passed, following a short illness. Princess Ferial of Egypt Passed Away

Princess Ferial, the eldest daughter of late King Farouk of Egypt, died on 29 November after a long battle against cancer. The princess died in a hospital in Geneva, Switzerland, where she had been receiving treatment for stomach cancer. Ertuğrul Osman Osmanoğlu, the oldest member of the Ottoman dynasty, died in Istanbul at the age of 97. King of Bahrain’s Mother Passes Away

The Royal Court of Bahrain announced that Shaikha Hessa bint Salman Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain’s mother, had passed away. King Hamad was at the forefront of the funeral prayers this morning along with His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa as well as senior members of the royal family.
