Queen Fabiola Mistakenly Declared Dead Yet Again

Several days ago, “De Morgen” newspaper announced the death of Queen Fabiola on their website. The announcement read: “Sixteen years after the death of her husband King Baudouin, Her Majesty passed away at the age of 81. Ertuğrul Osman Osmanoğlu, the oldest member of the Ottoman dynasty, died in Istanbul at the age of 97. The Royal Court of Bahrain announced that Shaikha Hessa bint Salman Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain’s mother, had passed away. King Hamad was at the forefront of the funeral prayers this morning along with His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa as well as senior members of the royal family.
