Countess Alix de Lannoy Passes Away

Countess Alix de Lannoy, the mother of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume’s fiancée Stéphanie, passed away yesterday, the Grand Ducal Court confirmed today. The Countess, aged 70, passed away after suffering a stroke. She was born on September 20, 1941 and married Count Philippe de Lannoy in July 1965. The Countess is survived by her husband, eight children and numerous grandchildren.

Princess Lalla Amina Passes Away

Princess Lalla Amina, aunt of King Mohammed VI and daughter of the late King Mohammed V, passed away on Thursday August 16th after suffering from disease for several months, a communiqué from the Ministry of the Royal Household Protocol and Chancellery said. Saudi Crown Prince Passes Away

The Royal Saudi Court announced on Saturday the death of Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, deputy premier and interior minister. The 79-year-old Saudi Crown Prince, who died in Geneva, left Saudi Arabia last month for scheduled medical check-ups abroad. Death of Prince Tomohito of Mikasa

The Imperial Household Agency last night announced the death of Prince Tomohito of Mikasa at the age of sixty-six. The Prince, Emperor Akihito’s first cousin, passed away at 3:35pm local time on Wednesday June 6th, at a hospital in Tokyo. He passed away following major organ failure. The Duke of Palma’s Father Passes Away

Vitoria – May 10th, 2012 Juan María Urdangarín, the father of Don Iñaki Urdangarin, the Duke of Palma has passed away aged 79 in Vitoria. Its believed that the Duke’s father had been suffering from a serious illness and his condition deteriorated over the past few months. Juan María Urdangarín is survived by his Belgian wife, Claire Liebaert and seven children.

Emmanuelle de Dampierre Passes Away

Rome, Italy Emmanuelle de Dampierre passed away in Rome on May 2nd, 2012. Born into the Italian nobility on November 8th, 1913, Emmanuelle married Infante Jaime of Spain, Duke of Segovia on March 4th, 1935. The couple had two children: Don Alphonse de Bourbon (1936-1989) and Don Gonzalo de Bourbon (1937-2000). However, their marriage was unhappy and it ended in divorce in 1947. On the 15th of April 1969, HM Queen Victoria Eugenia of Spain passed away, aged 81 at Lausanne, Switzerland. A granddaughter of Queen Victoria, she was born at Balmoral in October 1887. Funeral of Tonga’s King George Tupou V

The late King of Tonga, George Tupou V, was buried today following a state funeral in the South Pacific nation’s capital, Nuku’alofa. The King of Tonga, George Tupou V, has passed away in a Hong Kong hospital. The news was confirmed by the Prime Minister of Tonga, Lord Siale’ataonga Tu’ivakano, a short time ago.
