20th Anniversary of the United Nations’ Rights of the Child Celebrated in Stockholm

CP Family attends Football Cup Finale

On November 8th Crown Prince Haakon, Princess Mette-Marit and their children Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus attended the Norwegian Football Cup Final at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, cheering. FRI: Help for Former Inmates

Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit visited the after-care project FRI in Drammen. FRI is a project that helps former inmates to return to society by offering networking, residential and work training. Representatives go into prison and start motivating people. Norwegian “Dancing Queens” and the “Pink Ribbon”

Today Queen Sonja and Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the gala night for the Pink Ribbon with the musical “Mamma Mia!” at the Folketeateret in Oslo. Gala for Stortinget 2009

Today HM King Harald and HM Queen Sonja invited the Parliament’s representatives to dinner at the Palace. Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Princess Astrid also attended the gala. “CARE”: Royals selling coffee and cakes

Yesterday Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit sold coffee and cakes outside their residence Skaugum for the sake of CARE. The opening of the Hamsun Centre in his childhood home place Hamarøy, is part of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Norwegian author Knut Hamsun. Today Norway’s little Princess Ingrid Alexandra and her mother Crown Princess Mette-Marit received the “Miljoagentparaden”, an environmental friendly manifestation, at the Royal Court in Oslo. The “Eco agents” is a childrens environment organisation. Little Princess Ingrid had collected old mobile phones, adapters and other old electric articles from the staff of the palace to recycle them.
