Princess Mary Gives Birth to Son and Daughter

At just before lunchtime on January 8th, 2011, the Danish Royal Court announced that Crown Princess Mary gave birth to a son and a daughter. The twins were born at 10:30 and 10:56, at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. They weighed 2674 grams and 2554 grams respectively. Princess Mary Admitted to Hospital

Denmark’s Crown Princess Mary has been admitted to hospital to give birth to her twins, as was confirmed by the Royal Court a short while ago. The Court said that Mary was admitted to the Rigshospitalet at around seven this morning. Palace Announces Princess Mary Expecting Twins

The Danish Royal Court has announced today that Crown Princess Mary is pregnant with twins. The statement says that the birth is expected to take place in January 2011, at the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, where the couple’s two elder children, Prince Christian (4) and Princess Isabella (3) were born. New Chief of Staff for Danish Crown Princely Couple

The Danish Crown Princely Couple has appointed a new Chief of Staff. The man is Christian Schønau, the 43-year-old administrative head of the Danish Ministry of Social Affairs.
