His Imperial and Royal Highness Archduke Rudolph of Austria passed away yesterday, 15 May 2010, aged 90. He was born on 5 September 1919 in Villa Prangins, near Nyon, Switzerland, where his family was living in exile after the fall of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Funeral of Prince Edouard Lobkowicz

Hereditary Grand Duchess of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach Passed Away

This Monday, hereditary Grand Duchess Elisabeth of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach passed away at the age of 98. The hereditary Grand Duchess was born in 1912 as Baroness Elisabeth von Wangenheim-Winterstein. She was the daughter of Baron Othmar von Wangenheim-Winterstein and Baroness Maud von Falkenstein. Danish Count Ingolf and Countess Sussie of Rosenborg recently celebrated two milestone birthdays – their respective 70th and 60th – in a joint party. Archduchess Regina Passed Away

Archduchess Regina of Austria, wife of the head of the Austrian imperial family, Archduke Otto, has died this morning in the family house in Pöcking near the Lake Starnberg in Bavaria, Germany.  The 85 year old archduchess died peacefully at 08.40 AM, with several members of the family present, according to a spokesperson of the family. Death of Count Christian of Castell-Rüdenhausen

On January 21st Count Christian of Castell-Rüdenhausen passed away after a long illness at the age of 57. Count Christian will be burried tomorrow. Since 1982 the count lived in the castle of Twickel in Delden, The Netherlands. He inherited the castle from a great aunt, the last lady of Twicke, baroness Marie van Heeckeren van Wassenaer. Princess Ferial, the eldest daughter of late King Farouk of Egypt, died on 29 November after a long battle against cancer. The princess died in a hospital in Geneva, Switzerland, where she had been receiving treatment for stomach cancer.
