Queen Margrethe II Marks 500 Years Since The Reformation

Queen Margrethe II of Denmark today opened an exhibition at the Round Tower in Copenhagen that celebrates the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. The Ordrupgaard Museum in Charlottenlund, north of Copenhagen, held a preview today of their latest exhibition, Monet. Beyond Impressionism, which was attended by Crown Princess Mary. Prince Charles Becomes Patron of the National Gallery

The Prince of Wales today visited the National Gallery in London, where he was given a tour of the Gallery’s new exhibition, Delacroix and the Rise of Modern Art. Charles was also named the Gallery’s first Royal Patron, after being a trustee between the years of 1986 to 1993. The exhibition is the first in Britain of the works of French artist Eugène Delacroix in over 50 years.
