Captain Laurent Attends Anniversary of Tienen & Military Divers

Queen Elizabeth Marks 250th Anniversary of Kew Gardens

HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh visited The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew on May 5 as a part of the gardens’ 250th annivesary celebrations. Princess Laurentien at Society to Benefit Education 225th Anniversary

Yesterday, Princess Laurentien travelled to Rotterdam to attend the Society to Benefit General Education’s 225th anniversary celebration. The event took place at Rotterdam’s National Museum, where the Princess was presented with the first copy of the Society’s jubilee book. Danish Royals help celebrate Home Guard’s 60th Anniversary

The Danish Royal Family was out in force on Wednesday April 1st to help the Danish Home Guard celebrate their 60th anniversary. The eyes of royal-watchers were split between Crown Princess Mary in her military uniform and Princess Marie’s baby bump. Five years ago, on 20 March 2004, queen Juliana of The Netherlands passed away at the age of 94 at Soestdijk Palace in Baarn. Seventy-five years ago, on 17 February 1934, King Albert I of Belgium fell off the Roche du Vieux Bon Dieu, at Marches-Les-Dames, while mountaineering.
