Norwegian Summer Photo Shoot – Now with Puppies

The Norwegian Royal Court has released this week a photo gallery of the Crown Princely Family’s summer photo shoot. The images were taken at the family’s summer home in Dvergsøya last week by Veronica Melå. Hyloscirtus princecharlesi – The Frog Named After Prince Charles

In fairytales, it is usually a frog that turns into a prince, but this time, it’s a Prince that has become a frog. Well, sort of. On May 17th, Norway celebrates its National Day. As every year, the Norwegian Royal Family is involved in the celebration. Like every year the Dutch Royal Family was present at the National Volunteer Day, NL DOET, on March 16 and 17, 2012. It shows Prince Haakon, his wife Mette-Marit, the three children Marius, Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus and family’s new puppy. Libyan President Honors King of Swaziland with Camels

King Mswati III of Swaziland was given a present of six camels by Libyan president Muammar al Gaddafi as a token of friendship yesterday. Royal Dachshund Bites Royal Bodyguard

Evita, the 11-year-old dauchshund of Prince Henrik, has biten a royal bodyguard, leaving the man in hospital needing stitches and a tetanus shot.
