To me, this isn't so much a case of: What was she thinking? As: What had she been DRINKING? Gorgeous as Maddie is, THIS outfit was an epic fail that NO amount of jaw-dropping beauty was going to save. Better luck next time, hon. SMH.

Max in pink/purple? FABULOUS!!! Max in the Day 2 outfit with the Star Trek headpiece? Well . . . From the hairline down, she pretty much rocked it (even though I liked her previous dress just a wee tad bit better). That headpiece? Ewwww. Oh, well . . . This IS Maxima, after all!!!

Count me in on your --- and apparently quite a few other people's! --- sentiments about a few aspects of Maddie's outfit (i.e., the bottom really could have been a few inches longer, etc.). Just goes to show that beauty or not, no one can (or WILL!) hit everything out of the park all the time...

God bless Max, I love her, yes I do. But, since it looks like she's SO into making "fashion statements" that she'd actually go out in public with that zipper put in as it is (apparently ON PURPOSE!), then I'd say she needs to rethink her priorities and have her head examined, for good measure...

LOVE the lace addition. It adds elegance to the dress, to me. A different --- i.e., less inexpensive-looking --- fabric would've worked better in BOTH cases, IMHO. And I agree that a not-so-hot-and-bright, darker red would've been even nicer, even though Marie DOES carry off THAT shade of red...
