Princess Elisabeth, first cousin of Queen Margrethe II, today celebrates her 80th birthday. She was born in Copenhagen in 1935 to Prince Knud of Denmark and his wife Caroline-Mathilde, and was first grandchild of King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine. On Thursday, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie visited the Luxembourg Pavilion during the Venice Biennale. The title of the Luxembourg pavilion is “Paradiso Lussemburgo”. The Hereditary Grand Duke, who wore a suit, and the Hereditary Grand Duchess – dressed in red pants with a matching top – also toured with a few guests the lagoon city and went on a short gondola ride.
