The official Saudi news agency (SPA) announced that King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, is suffering from a herniated disc. The announcement stated that the 86 year old Saudi monarch is suffering from back problems, which his doctors diagnosed as a herniated disc. Doctors also advised him to rest as part of his therapy. On November 10, Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Maxima had a meeting with the new Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, at Villa Eikenhorst. The new Prime Minister was invited by the royal couple for an introductory visit. Rutte was received previously by Queen Beatrix on October 14th at Huis ten Bosch, the day he officially became the Dutch Prime Minister. Queen Beatrix then received the new cabinet.
