HRH the Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah visited the cochlear surgery department at King Hussein Medical Centre. During his visit, he checked on patients who received cochlear implants and was briefed on the procedure and recovery. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have started their four day visit to Germany. The couple arrived this evening in Berlin. They were received by a German military honour guard which had lined up to their car, a 21-gun salute and fighter jets flew over the area in tribute. The 3rd Duke of Fife, James Carnegie, passed away today at Kinnaird Castle in Angus, Scotland. He was 85. Born in 1929, James was the only child of Princess Maud, daughter of Louise, Princess Royal and Alexander Duff, 1st Duke of Fife, and Charles Carnegie, 11th Earl of Southesk.
