Rome, Italy Emmanuelle de Dampierre passed away in Rome on May 2nd, 2012. Born into the Italian nobility on November 8th, 1913, Emmanuelle married Infante Jaime of Spain, Duke of Segovia on March 4th, 1935. The couple had two children: Don Alphonse de Bourbon (1936-1989) and Don Gonzalo de Bourbon (1937-2000). However, their marriage was unhappy and it ended in divorce in 1947. Crown Princess Mary yesterday unveiled a new portrait during an event on Children’s Aid Day.
