Crown Prince Frederik has officially opened the Kolding Hospital which is part of the extension and renovation of the previous hospital on the site. The new section of the hospital holds the emergency department, the chapel and a mother-child centre. After Parliamentary approval, the palace will undergo the essential renovation on replacing boilers, cables, pipes and electrical wires. Work is to start taking place next April.
