The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Gdansk on the second day of their Polish tour, Tuesday July 18. They began their day with a visit to Stutthof Concentration Camp, where they met Holocaust survivors Manfred Goldberg and Zigi Shipper, who were friends during the war. The Danish Royal Court announced on Monday that Prince Henrik has undergone surgery on his groin and pelvis, where balloon stents were placed in pulmonary arteries in the area which were blocked. The operation took place at Skejby Hospital in Aarhus. Prince Henrik is expected to be released on Wednesday. The Court had previously announced Thursday that he had been hospitalised for treatment on a leg infection.
