Restoration of the Monarchy in Romania

the idea of King Michael back on the throne, even at his advanced age is a lovely one. Not many things coming out of Romania have been all that lovely. The communists were worse than appalling. But the King is one decent and honorable and truly noble human being. His action in getting rid of the...

    Worst Royal Jewels 2

My God, the bad taste just never ends. It is called creative stupidity or creative tastelessness. It is taste and intelligence turned up on its head. The Madeleine thinge looks like something ordered for a high school prom from wall mart and that ring appears to be some bijoux to be used in one...

Least Appreciated Royal Jewel: Queen Margrethe's "Golden Poppies" Hair Ornament

Ye Gods and Little Fishes, I thought this horror had been buried long ago. In this case less and less is most definately better. In fully pomp and circumstance MII looks like some kind of space queen in a 1960s outer space horror waiting for the next brain dead blonde hunk to be sacrificed to...

Photoshopping Royal Tiaras and Jewels 2

Well, Good People, since I am totally incompetent in the area of computer bedecking of royalty and must appeal to my betters, may I suggest adorning the noble Duchess of Cambridge in the Desiree parurue of Princess Mary and let us see how she would look in all those gorgeous rubies. Admittedly...

Photoshopping Royal Tiaras and Jewels 2

Well, Good People, I must say that there is not a woman alive (or man either for all that) who would not or does not look good in pearls. One may question the design however. I think Catherine's hairdo needs to be redone but other than that the Lover's Knot tiara is magnificent. It would be even...

Prince William and Catherine Middleton: Church Service - April 29, 2011

I think the negative comments are just a bit much, dare I say in poor taste. . I thought they both looked just fine in a dignified and beautiful service. The dress was simple but elegant and the tiara while not entirely to my taste (I run to the massive Russian if you got it flaunt it school)...

Catherine Middleton's Wedding Tiara: Suggestions and Musings

Well, good people, who gives a hoot about the economic situation. Let the good woman wear the most extravagant and albeit tastefull, expensive tiara she or her relatives or the BRF can lay their hands on. This is about celebration if you please and for once enjoyment and gladness. After so much...

Catherine Middleton's Wedding Tiara: Suggestions and Musings

Pearls, Pearls, Pearls, if you please. all this chatter about which tiara is fun but really does not quit tell us anything. Personally I wish somebody in the family or the Middleton family would call up Imelda Marcos, who was still alive last time I heard, and see if the superb diamond and pearl...

Site Maintenance, Software Upgrades, Downtime, Glitches etc

Oh, Ye Gods and Little Fishes, what will the idiots think of next. Being a complete computer hopeless and helpless I cannot think for the life of me why anybody in his right mind would want to plant viruses or some such, parasites, worms bugs, slime mold etc in any of the wiring or what not of...

Photoshopping Royal Tiaras and Jewels 2

I am ready to toss all those vulgar Russian apparatachiks into the dustbin of history. Just think what was lost. Of which that photo is but the merest suggestion of what the Bolshevik lunatics did to long suffering Russia and indeed the world. Marvelous Madame Royale, simply marvelous.

Photoshopping Royal Tiaras and Jewels 2

Oh My God!!! Camilla looks like a prize peacock. I have always said that contraption is a study in excess. I agree that the stones are gorgeous but the whole thing needs to be reworked. Perhaps a kokoshnick with some kind of necklace with space as well as jewels with of course earings, etc. Cheers.

Least Appreciated Royal Jewel: Queen Margrethe's "Golden Poppies" Hair Ornament

Oh God, the whole parure is so awful that considerings parts of it is on the order of distinguishing the different stinches in a landfill. The effect on a mental level is about the same as the effect I experienced one time when driving throug the farm country of Pennsylvania on an olfactory...

Least Appreciated Royal Jewel: Queen Margrethe's "Golden Poppies" Hair Ornament

Oh, MY God!!! The Poppy Space Ship horror has a thread of its own. We have reached a new low indeed. To my appalled dismay I learn the blasted contraption has lights (Lights, Electric Lights????????) in it. Since when have AAAA batteries and electric wiring considered to be a part of jewelry, on...

    Favourite Royal Tiaras 2

Oh God!!! This is more than my frail, fragile and weak, decrepit system can endure. I shall I shall not "fall upon the thorns of life" and bleed. Oh no, I shall drool and dance for joy and delight. My favorite trinkets in all the world and on one page of the internet. The Fife, the Bagration...
