I agree, I prefer the earlier version. For some reason, maybe the thick black banding around the edges, the nude lining is more jarring on this version. It also appears lighter. I guess if it was closer to her skin tone it might look too risque. This has me wondering what it might have looked...

Gender There are other options to find out gender besides an ultrasound/scan. Some mothers choose to have a CVS test around 11 weeks, and that can determine gender with 100% accuracy. Personally, I'm more interested in learning her due date than gender. :smile:

I'm pretty sure the earliest you can find out gender with 100% accuracy is about 10 weeks. I found out I was having a daughter at 11 weeks. Although, it would have been quite the sight if they did know it was a girl and they both came out wearing bright pink! I don't think I've ever seen...

Just to comment on this, of course all pregnancies are different but I had my daughter 18 months ago and traveled frequently for work while pregnant. My doctors put no limitations on flying during the first or second trimesters. In fact I was hoping they'd limit me earlier in my 3rd trimester...
