It is interesting that Fellowes was first cousin to Sarah Ferguson. I think she called him "Bellowes" when exasperated with him. The two of them were also related to Princess Alice of Gloucester - or at least Fergie was. So interesting. Thanks for the interesting thread.

Wonderful service. The readings, prayers and the prince's speech were very fitting. It was also nice to see the Royal Family singing the hymns, and I was impressed with how they greeted each other before and after the service. A good day to be royal....

This is an interesting thread. However, no one to my knowledge has mentioned the fact that in England, the monarch's coronation is a Christian one, with prayers made to Jesus, etc. etc. So, my question is this: how could an English king in good conscience, make the vows to God, Jesus, etc...

Again - all one has to do is look through this thread and realize that most of the pictures are of them 'relaxing.' I really don't think they work that hard. Period. And, no one has been able to counter my claim that the two Princes don't appear as self-sacrificing as their grandparents...

Oh yes - the 'army' thing, which I have heard of - as said by a previous poster, the 'army' thing entails him working 8:15 to about 4:45, with weekends off. Not too terribly strenuous. Oh, but of course, I forgot that he is probably pretty busy playing polo, surfing in the Caribbean, and...

They are NOT a normal couple - my point exactly. So, why are they acting like any other bar hopping, egocentric, silly twenty-somethings? Why don't they devote themselves, (and not just for photo-ops,) to some worthy volunteer cause? To me, they just look like a couple of spoiled rich kids who...
