not strictly magazine covers but both from Hello magazine. the 1st october 1990 and the 2nd july 1991 and i'm in the backround of both of them!!

i first met diana in 1989 in bromley, kent. she was at a ballet performance. i waited for hours in wind and rain but was well rewarded when she came over to me! i never met her and charles together b ut i met charles once or twice!

much talk here in ireland that the Queen will visit next Summer. I was on national radio today expressing my enthusiasm for such a vist!! I will be first in line behind the barriers when she comes for sure!!:flowers:

she recognised me mermaid but she did not know my name. she knew after speaking to her a few times that i was obviously irish and she remarked once that she liked my accent and never to lose it! she also knew i was a nurse, through conversation, and she would ask me where i was working now and...

i met Sarah at that book signing in easons and at her last signing (Ruby). as it happened a friend of mine, who i had met when i was living in the uk, flew over from london for the signing and had met Sarah many times. this friend is an avid fan of sarah's and sarah recognised her, called to her...

i remember that day very well, even though it 20 years ago! unusually there were not the usual number of diana followers there that day, so i found myself alone in a press pen with alot of photographers all clambering for the best view of diana's arrival and then of her leaving. when she exited...

yes i did see her wear the same outfit twice...a particular green suit comes to mind and a short black and white cocktail dress also. it was a bit disappointing to see her in the same outfit as it wasn't good for the photos!! all looked the same! having said that i saw her in very nice outfits...

my memories are of meeting diana around 40 times whilst i lived in uk. i was always a huge fan and was thrilled the first time i met her at an engagement in bromley, kent 1989. i shook her hand and she spoke a few words but i was unable to speak...i was so thrilled to meet her. so all through...

I always found when i went to royal engagements, if i stood near Colin then at least Diana or whichever Royal it was, would have to stand for a minute or so to listen to Colin and it gave me the opportunity to take good photos! But I do agree he did tend to "Take over" the whole event!
