When Hamdan does get married, how will his wife earn financial income? It’s not like she’ll be working on a daily basis, she’ll be doing charity/humanitarian work as well as attending events...
sorry if this seems like a silly question.
Wouldn't she have access to his bank account? Lol

Would it be possible for HH CP Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum to be married in the future without making his wife public?
:)

I wanna know the question to this answer too

How did Imans name come up when mentioning a possible wife for Hamdan?(sorry if it was already mentioned.im new. And I just got into Hamdan a few weeks ago)?

I don't think it was mentioned already. Or if it was, I didn't notice.

I brought it up because I couldn't think of any other eligible royal to marry him.

Her aunt Princess Rayiah bint Hussein is closer in age.

That's not an option at all because Raiyah is Haya's step sister. In case you didn't know, Haya is Hamdan's step mother. Two sisters cannot marry father and son from the same family.

Why can't they?

why will she need to "earn a financial income?"

Yeah. If you knew that, then why did you suggest Raiyah?

Because she is close in age to Hamdan and single?

She maybe closer in age, but that would make a whole awkward family. One sister becomes the mother in law of the other.

Age is just a number. If you find the right partner, age shouldn't matter. Not necessarily about Hamdan, just in General.

Haya is just a couple years older than Hamdan, but she's married his father.

Why can't they?

It's against Islamic Law.

I can't see Princess Iman marrying him for a number of reasons. But surely (if he's not quietly married already I guess) there must be Sheikhas available from the UAE and elsewhere that are suitable and willing.

Why won't Iman marry him? For what reasons? I am just curious. I don't know much about the Jordanian Royal family. In fact I don't know anything about any royal families. I just got into Hamdan about 2 months ago..so I'm unaware of a lot of things.

Honestly I don't know whether he is already married or not. I did guess he might be, but almost all his fans think he isn't. And officially he isn't married. So I assume he is single. Why do you say "if he isn't quietly married already"?

It is not. Religiously, CP Hamdan is allowed to marry any of Haya`s sisters. The only forbidden is Haya herself as she is married to his father.

could he marry hher if she and his father were divorced?

No, he couldn't. All Sheikh Mohammed descendants including his daughter's sons are not allowed to marry princess Haya even if he divorced her.

Maybe he'll give her an allowance????
Any prospective bride will have no problems supporting herself since she'll be well taken care of financially. The wife of the crown prince will be afforded the lifestyle she's entitled to. Also, if she as expected of the first wife of a crown prince, is of a high-ranking Muslim family she will be given a substantial dowry when she marries.

why not?
what's wrong with sisters marrying father and son?

My mistake. I researched something like this on another matter and thought it was like the prohibition on marrying two sisters.

I should think any wife of Hamdan will have no need of a job, nor would the Al Maktoum's want her to have one when many wives aren't even public knowledge.

If Hamdan marries a western girl, would they want her to be public? She could bring good PR to Dubai.

Ya that would be weird....

The previous king of Bhutan had no problem marrying 4 sisters (and he most likely would have married all 5 had the eldest not already been married).

(And yes, I am aware that he isn't muslim)

More like a luxury lifestyle
