I don't think Christopher Wilson is a Diana fan,because he is quite negative about Diana in his book as well. I think he is more to be a republican person or a critical person of the styles of this current royal family. His comments 数about the royal family are always quite negative to me. I do have one point for him: he is the pioneer in researching Camilla's genelogy and information of her forebears, other information of his book is most from the "downstairs group".

There is another biography written by a Frech author after the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. I have only read the chinese translated version of it, and the title of this book is "the secret passions: Charles and Camilla".
