I think you're right, it looks like she got it from the Bazar, but it's not hte bag she's holding the one she has is found here
Kate Middleton Current Events 4: Dec 2005-Feb 2006 post #28. The one she has is a little larger. But the Banana Republic bags and the Bazar bags look quite the same. Maybe some of the bags at the Bazar were ordered from Banana Republic?
