Crown Prince Haakon (Crown Prince Regent at these times) Queen Sonja today opened today a new national centre called Wergeland House in Eidsvoll. The house will make room for education and exhibitions about Norwegian history and the demands of democracy. The official ceremony took place in the same room as the Norwegian constitution was signed in 1814. Around 3 000 school kids met the royals and their hosts with flags and cheers.
