The Princes of Asturias arrived today at the Principality to attend the acts which will take place for the XXV anniversary of the Prizes Principe de Asturias. Coming from Madrid, Don Felipe and Doña Letizia arrived at the airport at 11.30 a.m..
From there, they went to Gijón, to inaugurate the exhibition "La Sierra de Atapuerca. Un viaje a nuestros orígenes". With this exhibition, Cajastur commemorates its 125th anniversary.
At 1:00 p.m., the Princes of Asturias will meet the British scientist Stephen Hawking (who received an award in 1989) in the Palace Villa Magdalena of Oviedo, the official headquarters for the commemorative acts of the XXV anniversary of the Prizes.
The day will end with a reception offered by the Princes of Asturias, at the Hotel Reconquista of Oviedo.
