Victoria Day - Crown Princess Victoria's Birthday, Through the Years
 

I only know pictures from Victoriadagen 2001, 2002 and 2003. But what was in 1978? Did Victoria attend "her day"? I mean, she was only 1 year old.
Does anyone have pictures of the Victoria-days 1978-2000?

My goodness she sort of resembles her mother. For a split second I thought the queen was her!

Those pictures aren´t really from the victoria day.. They are from Solliden, when she and her parents said hello to the people that had gathered outiside of the palace.. just like they still do every year.
I think Victoria started to attend the victoria day in Borgholm in 1983... before that it was the king who handed out the prize.

Victorias name day is march 12th.
But her birthday on July 14th is called "Victoria dagen", but mostly in the media and its the name of the celebrations on Öland.
It´s mentioned in the calendars as "the crownprincess´" birthday" and it is a flag day.
