Just to let you know that Crown Princess Martha died before King Olav became king on June 22, 1958 so that she never was Queen Martha.

My apologies...I got carried away with the word Queen....It is so early in the morning, I might becoming delusional....with insomnia!!! Not fun... Any way, Thanks... for clarifying that for everyone!

Crown Princess Märtha of Norway, nee Princess of Sweden and Norway. There's a biography written about her in the Norwegian forum. She is standing in front of her husband, then Crown Prince Olav of Norway.

She's also wearing the emerald tiara that Sonja is so fond of.
