Prince Frederik and Princess Mary's Visit to Canada; September 17-19, 2014

I recently read on Tumblr that Fred and Mary are making an official visit to Canada in early Fall of 2014, I think it is. August/September, by what I read.

This was found on a site, and is from the Danish ambassador to Canada.

"2014 forventes også at byde på et stort officielt royalt besøg til Canada, når
Kronprinseparret besøger landet i efteråret."

As I understand it, it's talking about an official royal visit to Canada by the Crown Princely Couple in 2014.

This is the source: http://startvaekst.dk/file/437441/in...januar2014.pdf

Dated January 20th, 2014. So fairly recent.

Tumblr? I wasn't the only one who happend to find the obscure link where the visit is mentioned then? ;)

The Danish pdf says "efteråret", which google translates to "fall". It doesn't mention any specific month for the visit.

Question to the Danish posters: "efteråret" Is it something like September-November?

looking forward to this visit; I see that three events are already up on the net: a luncheon at the Rotary Club, Toronto on Friday September 19, then a demonstration of Electric Hockey at the Brickworks, followed by a screening of Mads Mikkelson's film Salvation at TIFF! A long day for them; I will think long and hard if I have $60 to join them at the film festival:bang:

Looking forward to it

Saturday and Sunday are two days of rest for the couple before they travel directly to New York, where they have a program on September 22 before returning home to Denmark.

And yes, I also would say this trip is Frederik and Mary's first official trip to Canada. They have been in Canada in 2010, but it was not an official visit to the country.

How is the weather in Canada this time of year?
