In Sweden, SVT1 sends the wedding on 8th June at 15.30-17.50, and SVT2 continues at 17.50-19.30.
The arrival of the guests at the Royal Chapel, the wedding ceremony, the cortège and arrival at Drottningholm Palace will be broadcast live by Sveriges television.
SVT1 sends the highlights in the evening at 20.00-21.00.
Sveriges Television will also be broadcasting live on SVT Play - Sveriges Television, at Victoria's and Daniel's wedding this could be watched in the whole world, hopefully also this time.

Love the Monogram. Is there any network in the US which will broadcast this?

principessa 05-19-2013 03:37 AM

ARD (Germany) will show between 19:30 and 19:50 a summary of the wedding.

I would say they don't even know Sweden has a royal family. There may be a single picture in the next day's news.

Is there a link on the Royal Family Website for the UK?

Well, the US media did show some news coverage of Victoria & Daniel's wedding. Not on the British royal interest level though.

RTL will broadcast in Belgium

windsorbrides1 05-30-2013 01:15 AM

Would someone translate the time in American - is that 1:30 pm Eastern?

LadyFinn 05-30-2013 01:22 AM

Here is the link to the Swedish Television SVT's live coverage from the wedding, swedish time 15.30-20.15. It says that this can be seen at the whole world.

The Swedes are so much more considerate of the American viewers - so glad I'm not getting up at 4:30 a.m. as I have in the past....:whistling:

Perhaps Mr. O'Neill's support staff made such a request. ;)

Not too bad for us. Coverage will start just after 10pm Australian Eastern Standard Time. I'll have to make sure I stay awake.

Just looked at the programme schedules. I find it somewhat disappointing the Danish coverage of the wedding on the public service networks is more extensive than the Swedish.

TV2 send practically non-stop from 14.30 until 19.00. With an additional one hour summary at 20.00.

I'm not sure if you can watch it live outside DK. But video blocks are usually uploaded after about half an hour.

I have tried to watch Danish TV from Germany several times. Usually it is blocked if you are outside Denmark. But that seems to depend on the broadcasting rights and sometimes programs are available.

For Belgian people RTL-TVI broadcasts the wedding.
