Historical Royal Weddings (May 2010 Informal Poll)
Welcome to the
May 2010 Informal POM poll
Historical Royal Weddings!

The pictures in this poll show the informal side of royalty. It will close on 4 July 2010. During this time, we ask that NO ONE STATE WHOM THEY'VE VOTED FOR so as not to influence other members as they make their choices. After the poll closes, you can discuss as much as you'd like about which image you voted for and why.[/CENTER]
This month, our Picture of the Month representatives had help in selecting their images with a small committee of their choosing. Below, you can see each royal house's representative (in bold) followed by their chosen committee members.

Just a little correction: the picture of Spain Royal wedding was labelled as "Alfonso XII marrying Victporia Eugenia of Battenberg". It was Alfonso XIII who married Victoria Eugenia, nicknamed "Ena". Alfonso XII married twice: the first time with her deep love Princess Maria de las Mercedes of Montpensier; when he was widow of her, he married Maria Cristina of Habsburg. Future Alfonso XIII was their son.

This may have been posted previously, but I was interested in which rings were most admired?

Royal Engagement Rings: A Look Back - AisleDash

(I would probably choose something like Sophie's, although I think Diana's sapphire ring is impossible to overlook!)
