Mary's orange dress worn to the New Years reception is by designer Jesper Hovering according to BB

bertie5252003 01-08-2010 01:31 PM

Well whoever made it hope it doesn't turn up again it really was IMO horrible.

Lumutqueen 01-08-2010 03:09 PM

I love some of Jesper Hoverings dresses.
I hope she wears more of the designers gowns. :flowers:

I think that the bright orange gown she wore to the New Year reception is stunning, but the colour is a bit gaudy for my taste. In a different colour, like blue or purple, it would be wonderful, I think :flowers:

Orange is a very difficult color to wear IMHO. Very few people look good in it. It's not terrible on Mary but it's not her best color either.

I agree, orange is a colour I dislike ,very unflattering imo.It would be better in blue or pink imo:flowers:

Agreed about the orange dress, would love to see it in deep purple or red. At least we can look forward to variation with Mary.

A while ago we have seen Mary wore some long pants for a performance during the COP 15:

In another thread, she was found wearing those pants a long time ago when accompanying Fred and QM and Pr Henrik to Luxembourg for GD Henri's birthday:

She recycles well, doesn't she?

Danish Home Guard's New Years Concert at the Copenhagen City Hall on Tue. Jan. 19

Black coat, purple dress underneath. Strange outfit, the dress seems too long for the coat. Don't like the cuff, it doesn't work with the outfit. All in all very dark. Too bad we can't see without the coat.

Im loving the coat, especially the fur detailing.
The shade of purple underneth looks lovely, looks like a plum color. The length of whatever it is, is perfect IMO. It would be interesting to see whether it is a dress or skirt & a top.

Has she worn it before? I think it's not new.

The coat looks nice but not her fur cuff at her waist. I wish Mary would take off her coat and let us to see her whole outfit.

It's a nice coat, I don't mind it that the dress is longer than the coat, but I dearly wish to see the dress or skirt underneath - from what we can see it has a lovely colour.
Nice shoes as well, she has amazing legs. :flowers: I think it's a classy look.

Mmmm...I just like her shoes this time. I´ve never liked this coat, and I think that the dress underneat doesn´t look good at all. Not her best outfit, IMO :ermm:
